Lambros Georgallas,PT, DPT, earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Stony Brook University and completed one of his major affiliations with Hands-On. Lambros treats all Orthopedic Conditions and Sport Injuries affecting the general and athletic population with a specialty in Orthopedic Post-Operative Surgery Rehabilitation. Dr. Georgallas is skilled in Proprioceptive Training and Mobilization of the Spine, Shoulder, Hip/Pelvis, Knee, and Foot/Ankle. Lambros has extensive experience with Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy, and Strain Counter Strain Techniques. Dr. Georgallas' philosophy is to not add years to his patients' lives, but to add LIFE to his patients' years. A patient in his care will not seek a therapist just for treatment, but will learn with guidance how to successfully take care of his/her own body. Dr Georgallas strives to deliver the best to every patient every day. The patient is the first priority in everything he does.
Stephanie has both degrees in Biopsychology and Physical Therapy, the latter completed in Touro College. She has had vast experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation and has previously worked at St. Vincent's Hospital and with pediatrics in early-intervention treatment centers.
She has taken multiple continuing education courses in orthopedic and neurological PT and is a Certified Manual Therapist with a Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy (MCMT).
She is an avid Marathon runner, having competed in four NYC Marathons.
Farrah has been working as a Physical Therapist Assistant for over seven years. She has extensive training in Manual Therapy with emphasis in trigger point and myofascial therapy. Farrah is looking forward to completing her MCMT (Mastery Certification in Manual Therapy). Her passion for helping other people, gives her great satisfaction. Farrah is an athlete who enjoys boating, horseback riding, swimming, skiing and going to the gym.
Martin is an Exercise Specialist with extensive experience in exercise physiology and exercise prescription especially as it pertains to sports injuries and orthopedic rehabilitation. His multi-year experience as a tennis teaching pro along with his expertise as a personal trainer for the Dolphins fitness club enable him to have a deep understanding of the mechanics of the human body and to effectively help our patients who are involved in sports activities. . Martin holds the NASM personal trainer certification and NASM performance enhancement specialist certification. Martin believes that through exercise you not only get better but also remain healthy for the rest of your life.
