Dimitrios Kostopoulos, DPT, MD, PhD, DSc, ECS

Dr Dimitrios Kostopoulos COLOR Co Founder, Dr. Kostopoulos Honored by Bnai Zion FoundationDr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos is a leading expert in myofascial pain and co-founder of the Hands-On companies, which focus on physical therapy and rehabilitation, diagnostic testing, education and business management.

As an educator, Dr. Kostopoulos has extensive teaching and training experience in different areas of manual therapy and electrodiagnosis. As a clinician, he is a board-certified clinical electrophysiology specialist who has helped thousands of patients over his 25 years of clinical practice.

Dr. Kostopoulos serves on the board of directors of the Hellenic Medical Society, of the AIPT (as past co-chair) and of SACE, where he is an item writer for the Clinical Electrophysiology board exam. He is also associate editor of the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies (JBMT). Dr Kostopoulos is a past faculty member of Mercy College, a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management, and an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and of the American Academy of Orthopedic & Manipulative Physical Therapy.

Dr. Kostopoulos earned his doctorate (Ph.D) and master’s degree at New York
University. He earned his second Doctorate of Science (DSc) degree in clinical
electrophysiology from Rocky Mountain University and his MD degree from UHSA School of Medicine. He has also completed studies in traditional Chinese medicine.

Along with his business associate, Dr. Kostas Rizopoulos, Dr. Kostopoulos has done extensive humanitarian work raising funds for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society, Child’s Smile, the Hellenic Relief Foundation, Bnai Zion Foundation, Youth for Human Rights, and others. Their educational organization has delivered pro-bono educational programs across the globe and has offered over $100,000 in scholarships. Dr. Kostopoulos has taught students around the world and has published numerous research articles, books and videos in the areas of manual therapy and electrophysiology.
